Fun Stuff is Happening!

So much has happened since I last wrote. I now live somewhere with a big yard for me to run and play in with my two doggie friends, Zoe & Ben. I live with other people so get extra petting and love now, too! It's like we moved to a fun park or something! I'll post some pics of me in the yard when I can. Good times!

My Own Personal Attendant

We have a new guest in the house, Nico. He's been here almost a week.

I think he was a dentist or one of those cleaner fish in a past life. He can't seem to help himself.

Even when I close my mouth, he will lick at me...

...until I open in protest and he slips back in.

He's lucky I like him. ;-)

Boca finally got adopted!

After 14 months & 1 day with us Boca finally went to her own home with a nice young family today!

Last night we played some tug of war

and wrestled a bit since it was our last evening together.

Bye Boca, I'm glad you finally got your happy ending! I'll miss playing with you but will enjoy not being chewed on all the time!

Yay! Tug of War!

Mom grabbed a couple rope toys yesterday when we picked up Boca at Petco.
I'm teaching her how to play tug of war. She's pretty good at it but not as strong as me, obviously.
She also likes to do this weird thing where she tries to stand over my head sometimes; I think it's a dominance thing (even though she looks all innocent) so I just either move, or get up if I'm laying down, and send her flying to keep her in check. ;-)

She's baaaaaaack

Yep, Boca is back with us already.

The lady who was supposed to be her forever home brought her to us last night. I guess the lady's dog didn't take to Boca and since Boca isn't one to back down, there were some scuffles. The lady hadn't seen her dog act like that before and it freaked her out so she didn't think it would work out. Poor Boca, didn't really have a chance to adjust and settle in. But I guess it wasn't meant to be. That's ok, she can live with us again until the right person comes along. I don't mind her too much and she's fun to play with and smack down.
And as you can see, she doesn't seem too upset to be back with us!

Super fun day!

So we woke up early today and walked down to the park and when we got there, there were all these people and dogs and stuff going on! I remember being somewhere like this before when I was little and I saw some of my friends I get to see on Saturdays at Petco when we go pick up the foster dogs. We handed Boca off to someone when we got there since her forever person was coming to meet her. I got to go on a walk with a ton of dogs and then after I played with a few and leaned on a whole bunch of people.

We stayed a long time waiting for Boca's lady. She finally came and after playing with Boca and Lola (another pittie puppy), Boca went home with her.

I wish every weekend was walk-a-thon weekend cuz I love it!

We Named Her Boca

So mom asked some friends for name suggestions for the pup. After trying a couple out, the puppy seemed to like Boca so that's her name!
She's hard to get pictures of since she's usually moving around or biting on me.

But her fur sure is pretty, isn't it?

Mom's been working on us playing without growling, though of course, I'm allowed to tell off the puppy when she bugs me. Here we are playing nicely together. Too bad mom didn't get any of my famous smack-down moves on film this time.
