We Named Her Boca

So mom asked some friends for name suggestions for the pup. After trying a couple out, the puppy seemed to like Boca so that's her name!
She's hard to get pictures of since she's usually moving around or biting on me.
But her fur sure is pretty, isn't it?
Mom's been working on us playing without growling, though of course, I'm allowed to tell off the puppy when she bugs me. Here we are playing nicely together. Too bad mom didn't get any of my famous smack-down moves on film this time.

Um

I don't remember being consulted about bringing a 4 month old puppy home!
Her name at the shelter was Trip but she doesn't know it so we're going to change it. Not sure what yet. Mom's been calling her Loca cuz she's kinda crazy but we can't keep that name; who would want to adopt a dog named Crazy! :-)

She's smaller than she looks here. Mom will have to take some better pictures.
She plays like me since she's a bully so that's good. But mom has to keep an eye on us when we play as the puppy thinks she's the boss around here. Um, no, sorry kiddo, that would be me!

I'm sure she'll figure stuff out. Poor little thing has lived in the shelter half of her short life and didn't get a lot of attention there. Living in a home with us should help her relax and get used to being part of a family. She has an underbite like me so she can't be all that bad, right!?

Am I Old?

So mom has been asking me if I'm sore and she's telling people I look a little stiff sometimes. I don't feel that way, I'm still a puppy, right? I guess she talked to some friends and bought me some stuff to make me feel better and help promote healthy joints and all that jazz. All I know is I now get a yummy soft treat called PhyCox before breakfast and dinner, so whatever it is, I'm game!

What?

Why you keep laughing at me and what's an Easter Bunny?
Oh, ha ha, my ear, very funny. Can't help it when they go crazy sometimes!

This is my new friend Ben; he's staying with us this weekend while mom's friend is out of town. He's a real doggie friend so I'll be able to see him again after he leaves tomorrow. I'm glad; I like him.

I'm trying to teach Ben how to wrestle and play like like me. He's learning, though sometimes he's not sure what to do so he just lays there even though I keep poking him.

Hopefully we'll get to go run around together at the park or somewhere soon!
